This year i had great time going to metal festivals.
In my opinion one of the best is the Gods of Metal (great italian metal festival) with loads of cool international bands. The funniest and more particular perfomancer is a 62-year-old Franciscan monk named Cesare Bonizzi that always is the opening act for the "Gods of Metal".
Bonizzi, who has played the festival for 10 years under the moniker Fratello Metallo (Metal Brother), uses metal to communicate "themes of faith that have a bearing on life and which are experience musically in a secular key".
A monk singing metal is really rare, isnt he? heheh

The other one is Wacken Open Air (W.O.A the biggest metal festival in the world, located in Germany). Who doen't know it? By the way for all who don't know what i'm talking about here some useful links:
